What the heck is an aktïga? We’re glad you asked.

Our story

At our core, we are a collective of creative professionals who care about building great software and enjoying the process along the way.

The Swedish word "aktieägare" means shareholder. When our founder, Shane Parreco discovered this word he was captivated by its potential. Was it a tool or a platform—or could it be something larger, like a team working together with a common goal? In March of 2023, our creative agency/collective was founded with this in mind.

With a team of designers, developers, engineers, product, and marketing folks, our goal is simply to co-create and share in your journey. Everyone we meet has the potential to create something amazing. If you’ve got a great idea, we want to support you in your vision for success.
